This lady sings from within and with a power which makes it clear that every gift from GOD our maker is unique . No wonder there is a saying among the Akans that " the tongue never rots ". I wish the budding singers learn something from this woman's life. Blee her soul !

Were you blessed with a daughter or what? Everyone dreams big for their child, but who would imagine a star?

CAN'T YOU HEAR THE ANOINTING IN HER VOICE? WHITNEY WAS TALENTED AND GIFTED, UNTOUCHABLE AND SURE COULD SING FROM HER SOUL! DON"T YOU KNOW GOD WHEN YOU HEAR HER VOICE! CAN'T YOU FEEL HER SPIRIT AND SEE HOW SHE PUT EVERYTHING SHE HAD IN HER INTO EVERY SONG SHE SANG! EVEN WHEN SHE CAME BACK WITH I LOOK TO YOU. LISTEN TO THE MESSAGE! DRUGS OR NOT THAT WOMAN WAS A POWER HOUSE. I LOVE WHITNEY AND I WAS SO HAPPY WHEN SHE CAME BACK! WHITNEY YOU DESERVE TO BE IN GOD'S MANSION AND STREETS PAINTED IN GOLD AND SINGING WITH THE ANGELS. REST IN PEACE AND MAY GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS. I LOVE YOU MS. WHITNEY YOU ARE AND ALWAYS WILL BE A BEAUTIFUL LADY THAT WILL LIVE IN MY HEART JUST AS IF YOU WERE APART OF MY FAMILY! I MISS YOUR BEAUTIFUL SMILE AND THE WAY YOU MAKE A SONG COME ALIVE EVERY TIME YOU SANG! I KNOW YOU WERE SENT FROM HEAVEN AIN'T NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT! LET HE WHO IS WITHOUT SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE.

To Pat.. Judgement is of our Creator and Creator alone...Please withold Bible pushing finger pointing off social network sites.... Its turns people away from Christ, not toward the Spirit of Christology / Unconditional Love. Everyone knows right from wrong and its all relative to the individual relationship with our Creator...not with humankind and what we think about a situation. RIP Witney... I will always love you

I love this picture. Whitney Houston's future is so bright at this point in her life. The world was hers to conquer. Her parents couldn't be more proud.

Well.... any life that's not in Christ usually end up in crisis. She was blessed but misused the opportunity. Face God and explain.

She may have stumbled and fallen but she tried to get back up. Addiction is not an easy thing to overcome, hence the word ADDICTION. For those who still condemn her I say this. How fortunate for you, that you have never made any mistakes in your lifetime. It must be wonderful being so perfect. I guess you think your perfection gives you the right to judge other people. Even the ones you have never met. You say she threw her life away. I say she gave most of her life to us and she was sent as a gift from God. How dare you- perfect or not- criticize the gift HE sent.

Whitney was a once in a lifetime vocal artist. Her legacy will survive the ages. We all wish she could have been with us longer, but all feel blessed to have had the time we did with her. Her songs will be with us forever and her talent will be remembered by all. God bless you Whitney and thank you for all you gave.

It's a dirty shame that she threw her life away doing drugs and alcohol to excess. She won't be the last celebrity to do so. What a waste of singing talent..........
